JOSEPH SPIEGEL, Esq.
Joseph is a highly experienced Intellectual Property attorney, and has the distinction of being Av rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Joseph’s practice encompasses all facets of IP, including patent drafting and prosecution, trademark filings and prosecution, and significant experience in patent and trademark litigation and licensing.
He has previously represented clients in industries, including semiconductor processing and memory systems, fuel atomizers, gages, electrostatic chucks, thin film circuit elements, electroluminescent display devices, electronic circuitry, LED lighting, vacuum tight coupling means, joints and gauges, flow meters, traveling wave electron discharge devices, construction equipment, electronic game apparatus, medical devices, and tools and printing apparatus for large presses.
Prior to joining FALATI, Joseph worked at the largest IP law firm in upstate NY and was one of the name partners at a medium sized patent litigation and prosecution boutique law firm. As well as law firm experience, Joseph has worked in-house as Patent Counsel at IBM and at Westinghouse Electric Company.
Joseph graduated with a B.S. in Physics, cum laude, from University of Notre Dame; and studied law at Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the Law Review. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, District of Columbia, New York, and Federal District Courts in in the Northern and Southern Disctrict Courts of NY, Connecticut, Northern District of Californai pro hac vice, as well as the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC).
Joe is committed to civic activities and served as Chairman of his town’s Republican Committee, as well as holding the post of Town Judge.
